Refund Policy

A Legal Disclaimer

All deposits made to reserve a date at The Play Shed are non-refundable, no exceptions. By submitting your deposit, you agree to this policy and understand that it secures your requested date and time, which means we turn away other potential bookings for that slot.

We get that life happens, and we’ll do our best to reschedule your party if something comes up—but refunds for deposits will not be issued under any circumstances, including illness, weather, or personal scheduling conflicts.

Final payments for parties or events may be refundable on a case-by-case basis, minus the deposit, and only if canceled with adequate notice (see full cancellation policy for details).

By booking with The Play Shed, you acknowledge and accept this refund policy in full.

Refund Policy - The Basics

We totally understand that plans can change—kids get sick, weather turns wild, and sometimes life just says nope. That said, when you book a party with us, you're reserving time in our space that we can’t offer to anyone else. So here’s the deal:

  • All deposits are non-refundable. That’s how we lock in your date and turn away other bookings.

  • Final balances (if already paid) may be refundable depending on timing—but the deposit stays with us.

  • We’re happy to help you reschedule if something comes up and we have availability, but we can’t guarantee open dates.

  • No-shows and last-minute cancellations are not eligible for refunds or credits.

 

We keep things simple and transparent so there are no surprises—and so we can keep throwing awesome parties without the fine print drama.
